A Tiki Torch is essentially a tin can and they range in price. What your really paying for is the Tiki Torch holders, which vary in extravagance.
The raw flame is fun and they light up the area with a warming, yellow, ambience. I use them for my outside lighting needs. Two is adequate.
The regular fuel burns faster than the fuel treated of OFF bug repellent, but it smells better.
In the picture I've taken the canisters out of the holders and am simply using them like candles on the ground or on a table. They light up the area fine even from the ground.
They also take a slight chill out of the air and make great hand warmers.
